Is it just me or are the G20 protests getting way out of proportions? I mean, everyone should have their freedom to express their opinion, but what the fuck are these violent retards thinking about?

lol i agree completly, i am the first person to give my opinion but they are getting stupid over it, and then have the cheek to moan that the police hit them when the police where out numbered by like 1000 to one and they were physicaly abusing the police, what did they expect the officers to do. wy cant they just do what greenpeace do, chain them selfs to the railing or brick the entrances up, atleast greenpeace practice what they preach lol when some of the protestors where there for anti war reasons rather then economy and other issues, but they protest anti war by being violent :s

First, I think, protesters should agree between themselves... That is the most important part of it. Then they can organize and kick the "wrong" people out. Why is it always the violence? Would be much cooler if everyone protested peacefully, like Ghandi.

I've not followed the G20 closely at all, but I've seen images and footage of the demonstrations - I don't get the idea that they let in some 'legitimate/acknowledged' demonstration groups into the premises. To me , its like they're creating a them vs us situation between the protesters - so the people on the outside feel they have to be more demonstrative just to be seen/heard.
