Hereafter Babel ApS will be referred to as the "site owner", "site", "page" or "Dating.co.uk”.
Any person who creates a profile on Dating.co.uk agrees and accepts these terms and conditions and will hereafter be referred to as the "user" or "profile".
When creating a profile you acknowledge that you are 18 years old or older, and that the information you provide in your profile and your personal information, as well as in letters, debate topics, blog entries, blog comments, SMS shouts, guestbook entries and other places are truthful and consistent with English law. It is not allowed to create profiles on behalf of another person.
Dating.co.uk reserves the right, without reservation or prior notice, to delete/modify profiles which commercially exploit Dating.co.uk or contain some form of advertising, are offensive, untrue, discriminatory, libellous, or otherwise judged not to meet the standards of the site, concept and general good manners.
By entering your email address and phone number, you agree that we have the permission to send you various messages via e-mail and SMS. This also provides a contingency, should you forget your password and need us to send it to your email. The messages may contain advertising.
It is not allowed to send/forward internal mails or otherwise publish content on Dating.co.uk containing commercial, harassing, discriminatory or libellous content, chain letters or sensitive information (such as contact information) about other people. Systematic mass mailing of identical letters to a large number of profiles is prohibited and will be considered spam.
By creating a profile on Dating.co.uk you hereby allow us to show your public profile to Dating.co.uk's users and users on associated websites, in email advertising, at Dating.co.uk and in marketing material. A profile view may contain information about your political beliefs, religion, sexuality and similar information to the extent that you’ve actively attached them to your public profile. If you wish to withdraw this consent, you have to delete your profile.
It is not allowed to invite to, organise or advertise events with any sort of financial gain for the organisers. Publishing of events with advance payment, subscription lists or other organized content is not permitted at Dating.co.uk without prior permission.
By uploading any type of content to Dating.co.uk the user states that he is in possession of the full copyright of the given material. It is therefore not permitted without prior authorisation of the holder of these rights, to post, text or images that are downloaded from external websites.
Any violation of this regulation will result in immediate deactivation of the profile and all related content. This will be executed regardless of whether the user has paid for services not yet delivered. Payments for services that are not yet delivered are non-refundable in such case. In the event that English law is violated, the offence will be reported to the police, included IP numbers used in the login/creation, and any other relevant information about the user and the content posted in relation to the violation.
Should your account be totally inactive, An administrator may delte it without proir notice.

Conditions for uploading photos and videos on Dating.co.uk
Terms of profile photos:
- The image must be of you. It must be contemporary and you must have the right to use the picture.
- The image may not contain logos, links or references to other websites.
- The image must be of such a size and quality, that it’s clear to see who the person is.
- The image can not contain photo collages or text.
- The image can not contain whitespace (ie the image to go from edge to edge), no frames and it must be rotated correctly.
- The image may not be pornographic.
Terms of pictures and videos in galleries:
- Photos may not contain logos, links or references to other websites.
- The image can not contain whitespace (ie the image to go from edge to edge), no frames and it must be rotated correctly.
- The images may only be of personal relevance, ie. no images that are downloaded from the internet and no images of Tom Cruise - unless you stand next to him.
- The pictures may not be pornographic.
Terms of pictures and videos in private galleries:

Terms of pictures published in blogs and forums:
- Images must be relevant to the text and should not be taken from the internet unless it is has an obvious contextual relevance, ie. if you have been to London and posts a picture of Big Ben.
- Images must be contextual relevant, ie. it must be accompanied by a text for which the picture has an illustrative value.
- We reserve any right to delete messages/pictures if they do not meet the rules.
Terms of images attached to the letters in Dating.co.uk:
- Pictures of offensive nature which are sent unsolicited to other users, will cause a cancellation notice of the profile.
